Finnish steelmaker Outokumpu has announced that it will increase its base prices for all coil products in Europe by 4-6 percent as of December 20.
Outokumpu noted that stainless steel base price development in Europe softened in late 2010, but currently prices have stabilized and the prevailing demand-supply balance supports price increases for deliveries in the first quarter 2011.
