Russian steel and pipe producer OMK has announced that its foundry and rolling facility has produced its first one million mt of hot rolled coils since it was commissioned in October 3, 2008.
Meanwhile, OMK's total deliveries of the products of its foundry and rolling facility since it was launched have amounted to 939,683 mt.
Up to now, OMK has developed the smelting, casting and production of rolled products of 16 steel grades at its foundry and rolling facility, and plans in 2010 to master the production of eight new steel grades.
