OMK foundry and rolling facility produces first steel roll

The new foundry and rolling facility of the Russian steel and pipe producer OMK, which is located in the Vyksa district of Nijniy Novgorod region, produced its first steel roll late last week.

During the production of its first products, all systems and equipment of the facility, including EAF, ladle furnace and concaster, were tested.
