Nucor Berkley looks for export possibilities

Due to the decreasing trend in the US market, Nucor Berkley has been exploring possibilities in the export market. Several traders have approached large users promising incredible prices, but SteelOrbis is told that; Nucor has an excess tonnage of about 30'000mts for December 2002, which they might consider exporting. Today they are just seeking price ideas to see what the world has to offer. The US market is still at about $330/mt ex works base, thus before exporting there is plenty of room to go at home. SteelOrbis understands that the best ideas received so far are from China.
