Northwest Pipe receives $8 million pipe order

Oregon-based Northwest Pipe Company (Northwest Pipe) has announced the receipt of a verbal commitment from California-based Ranger Pipelines regarding an order for the supply of pipes for the Alternative Intake Project Pipeline in the Contra Costa Water District, California. The value of the order is estimated at approximately $8 million.

Northwest Pipe will supply about 12,500 feet (3,810 meters) of 72" steel pipes manufactured at its California-based subsidiary Adelanto, for an engineered and custom fabricated piping system.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2009.
