In the January-August period of the current year, non-financial foreign direct investment (FDI) by Chinese companies totaled $74.09 billion, up 7.8 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
Meanwhile, in the January-August period this year, Chinese companies made new investments worth a total of $9.58 billion in the 55 countries of the One Belt, One Road area, up 12.0 percent year on year.
