China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has announced that
China's gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to indicate a year-on-year increase of 6.7 percent in the fourth quarter of 2016 and also to rise by 6.7 percent year on year for the full year. In particular, NDRC expects that overall GDP will likely exceed RMB 70 trillion ($10.10 trillion) for 2016, increasing by about RMB 5 trillion ($0.72 trillion) year on year.
