China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has approved the third-stage of the urban rail transit construction in Changchun city, Liaoning Province, including line 5, line 6, line 7 and others, eight lines in total, with an overall length of 135.4 kilometers and an overall investment of RMB 78.732 billion ($11.5 billion), during the period from the year 2018 to 2023.
Previously in August 2017, NDRC suspended the approval of the urban rail transit construction projects due to the downtime in Baotou, Inner Mongolia.
