NBS: Slower growth rate in new house prices in China in October

In October this year, of major Chinese cities surveyed, respective month-on-month increases of 0.5 percent and 1.3 percent were recorded in new house prices in China’s first-tier cities and second-tier cities, with the growth rates 2.8 percentage points and 1.0 percentage point lower compared to those recorded in September this year, respectively, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
 
As for the second-hand house market, of major Chinese cities surveyed, respective month-on-month increases of 0.6 percent and 0.8 percent were recorded in house prices in China’s first-tier cities and second-tier cities, with the growth rates 2.9 percentage points and 1.1 percentage points lower compared to those recorded in September this year, respectively.
