MOC: Average finished steel price in China down one percent

On November 25, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (November 16-22) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by one percent week on week.

In the given week, average prices of equal angles and channels in China declined by 1.4 percent and 1.3 percent week on week, respectively.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by 4.1 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) declined by 4.9 percent compared to the previous week.

In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by 0.4 percent week on week. In particular, the average prices of thermal coal and coking coal increased by 0.6 percent and rose by 0.7 percent respectively, while the average price of anthracite coal decreased by 0.3 percent week on week.
