MOC: Inventories of main finished steel products in China increase

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that as of January 13 inventories of the main finished steel products in China amounted to 8.9364 million mt, indicating a rise of 11.8 percent in the three weeks since December 23. The MOC also stated that finished steel prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely continue to move on a soft trend in the coming period due to lower demand.
