MOC: Average finished steel price in China up 0.1 percent

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (March 11-17) the overall average finished steel price in China rose by 0.1 percent week on week.  

In the given week, average prices of high-speed wire rod and rebar edged up by 0.2 percent and 0.1 percent, respectively, week on week.  

In the week in question, the average price of coal in China edged up by 0.1 percent week on week. In particular, the prices of both anthracite coal and thermal coal remained stable, while the price of coking coal moved up by 0.4 percent, week on week.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China moved up by 0.4 percent week on week.
