On December 8, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (November 30-December 6) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by 1.2 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of high-speed wire rod and rebar in China declined by 1.6 percent and 1.4 percent week on week, respectively.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China increased by 0.3 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) decreased by 1.7 percent compared to the previous week.
In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China decreased by 0.2 percent week on week. In particular, the average prices of coking coal, anthracite coal and thermal coal declined by 0.4 percent, 0.3 percent and 0.2 percent week on week, respectively.
