China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (February 18-24) the overall average finished steel price in China declined by 0.2 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of high-speed wire rod, rebar, and common steel plate edged down by 0.4 percent, 0.3 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, week on week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China edged up by 0.1 percent week on week. In particular, the price of anthracite coal edged down by 0.4 percent, the price of thermal coal moved up by 0.3 percent, while the price of coking coal was stable, week on week.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China edged up by 1.5 percent week on week.
