Mobarakeh Steel sees 14 percent increase in HRC output

Iranian state-owned flat steel producer Mobarakeh Steel recorded outputs of 2,142,000 mt of crude steel and 2,200,000 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC) in the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 21), down 10 percent and up 14 percent year on year respectively - according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

Meanwhile, Saba Compact Strip Processing Plant, an affiliate of Mobarakeh, produced 338,000 mt of crude steel in the given period, representing an increase of 34 percent year on year, while its HRC output saw a 38 percent year-on-year rise, again according to IMIDRO.
