MMZ completes workshop repairs

On September 18 Moldovan Metallurgical Plant (MMZ) completed its eight-day long major scheduled repair of the main equipment at its electro-steelmaking workshop.

The scope of the overhaul included major repair of the EAF, and installation of a concaster and ladle furnace. In addition, some other equipment, including equipment in the sorting and crushing plant and in the scrap yard, has been repaired.

Meanwhile, the plant is continuing to conduct repair works in the white slag processing area.
