MMK's coating shop includes two HDG lines, supplied by Italian plantmaker Danieli, with an annual production capacity of 500,000 mt and 450,000 mt respectively. MMK's second HDG line was commissioned in July 2008.

Since its establishment in 1973, MMK's coating shop has produced more than 10 million mt of products, the majority of which were electrolytic tinplates.
