According to the concluded agreements, SMS Demag will supply equipment for MMK's new cold rolled mill, which will have an annual capacity of 2.1 million metric tons of automobile sheets and cold rolled coils.
On the other hand, SMS Mevac will supply equipment for MMK's new out-of-furnace steel processing complex. The complex will have a capacity of two million metric tons of steel plate and cold rolled sheets a year.
In addition, MMK has awarded the equipment supply contract for its new polymeric coating line to Finmeccanica SpA's Fata Hunter. The new line is to produce 400,000 metric tons of coated steel annually.
Last, but not least, MMK has ordered the equipment necessary for the overhaul of its hot rolled mill from Novokramatorks Plant. The overhauling will allow the HR mill to increase its annual production capacity to five million metric tons per annum.
