The Ukrainian mining and steel producing group Metinvest has announced that its products have successfully passed the European Community's REACH (Registration, Evaluation Authorization, and Restriction of Chemical substances) registration procedure, obtaining in late November registration numbers for all the dossiers submitted earlier to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), and thus ensuring unimpeded supplies of its products to users in the European Economic Area (EEA) after November 30, 2010.
"The European segment of the market is of priority for the company's development, which means that the strict following of the procedures and regulations existing in this market is of strategic importance for Metinvest," reads the company's statement.
