Metal One to build new processing center in China

Japanese firm Metal One has announced that it will build a steel coil processing center in Hangzhou city of China with an investment of Yen 2 billion ($18.9 million). The facility, which will have an annual processing capacity of 60'000 tons, will be operational in August 2005. In the first stage, the units at the center will be established. In the second stage, the capacity will be expanded. The company officials stated that with this new center, they plan to meet rising demand. Metal One's center will be the 9th processing center in China.
