Meishan Steel issues unchanged HR prices for Jan 2007

SteelOrbis Shanghai On December 7, 2006, Jiangsu Province-based Meishan Co. Ltd. (Meishan), a subsidiary of Baosteel Group, released its January 2007 ex-factory prices for hot rolled coil/sheet. The new prices are unchanged compared with December 2006. As a result, the new price of 3.00 mm thick Q235 HRC is still at RMB 3,650/mt ($466), while that of >3.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 3,500/mt ($447). The above prices exclude 17 percent VAT.
