On March 29, Australia-based Macarthur Coal Limited, the world's largest producer of seaborne low volatile pulverized injection coal used for steelmaking, lifted the force majeure announced on March 19 for coal shipments at Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal in Queensland, Australia. Rail services to and port services at the terminal have thus been resumed.

Despite the inactive force majeure period, the company has confirmed its full year sales forecast range of 4.8 million mt to 5 million mt which it had previously advised to the market.

The company said on March 19 that the port and rail services through Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal had been suspended due to severe weather conditions associated with Tropical Cyclone Ului, declaring force majeure.
