Logistics costs in China up 9.4 percent in January-November

In the first eleven months of last year, total logistics costs in China amounted to RMB 10.5 trillion ($1.6 trillion), up 9.4 percent year on year, with this growth rate 0.3 percentage points lower than that recorded in the first ten months of the year, as announced by China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

In particular, in the given period China’s transportation costs, storage costs and managements costs amounted to RMB 5.6 trillion ($0.86 trillion), RMB 3.4 trillion ($0.52 trillion) and RMB 1.4 trillion ($0.22 trillion), indicating respective year-on-year increases of 11.4 percent, 6.7 percent and 8.2 percent.
