Logistics costs in China up 8.3 percent in January-August

In the first eight months of this year, total logistics costs in China amounted to RMB 8.3 trillion ($1.2 trillion), up 8.6 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

In particular, in the given period China’s transportation costs indicated a year-on-year increase of 8.1 percent, with this growth 4.4 percentage points lower than August in 2017.
