LNM submits an offer for Romanian plants

LNM Holding, the second largest steel producer in the world, has submitted an offer for the privatisation process of Romania's state owned mills Siderurgica and Petrotub. Romania's privatisation agency Apaps stated that LNM was the only bidder to submit an offer before the August 4 deadline. The government currently holds 80.9% shares of Siderurgica and 69.7% shares of Petrotub. For the privatisation, the bidders will be invited to negotiations, after receiving the final and improved offers.
