LME increases number of approved brands for billet futures

London Metal Exchange (LME) has approved the brands of three Malaysian steelmakers, Amsteel Banting, Amsteel Klang and Antara Pasir Gudang, for its steel billet futures contracts.

As a result of these further additions, the total number of brands approved by LME has now increased to 25.

The new brands were approved on July 7, 2008.
