Lingyuan Steel sees 0.78 percent drop in net profit in 2018

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steel producer Lingyuan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd (Lingyuan Steel) has stated that in 2018 it registered an operating revenue of RMB 20.777 billion ($3.1 billion), up 15.5 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 1.197 billion ($0.18 billion), decreasing by 0.78 percent year on year.

In 2018, Lingyuan Steel produced 5.5298 million mt of crude steel, 5.2041 million mt of pig iron, and 5.4901 million mt of finished steel, rising by 9.45 percent, 6.42 percent and 9.40 percent year on year, respectively.
