LianYuan Steel ups ex-factory flats prices

On December 1, Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel announced upward adjustments to its ex-factory prices for flat products. The details are as follows:

HR:

The ex-factory prices increased RMB 150/mt ($20/mt). As a result, the new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,750/mt ($641/mt), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,580/mt ($618/mt).

CR:

The ex-factory prices rose by RMB 150/mt ($20/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 5,200/mt ($702/mt).

Full Hard:

The ex-factory prices saw an increase of RMB 150/mt ($20/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard is at RMB 4,730/mt ($638/mt).

HDG:

The ex-factory prices went up by RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). Thus, the new price of 1.0 mm thick ST01 HDG is at RMB 5,240/mt ($707/mt).

The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of December 1, 2007.
