LianYuan Steel ups ex-factory flats prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 4, 2007, Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel increased the ex-factory prices of a number of its flats products. The ex-factory price of HR increased RMB 50/mt ($6/mt). After this adjustment, the new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,080/mt ($523/mt), while that of 5.5mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 3,880/mt ($497/mt). The ex-factory price of CR increased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). After the adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 4,720/mt ($605/mt). Finally, the ex-factory price of HDG increased RMB 50/mt ($6/mt), with the new price of 1.0 mm thick ST012 HDG now up to RMB 5,400/mt ($692/mt). The above prices all include 17% VAT and are effective as of January 1, 2007.
