LianYuan Steel issues ex-factory prices for flats

On November 15, 2007, Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel announced upward adjustments to its ex-factory prices for flat products, excepting HDG which retains the same price level as before. The details are as follows:

HR:
The ex-factory prices increased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). As a result, the new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,600/mt ($619/mt), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,430/mt ($596/mt).

CR:
The ex-factory prices increased RMB 50/mt ($7/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 5,050/mt ($680/mt).

Full Hard
The ex-factory prices increased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). After the adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard is at RMB 4,580/mt ($616/mt).

HDG
The ex-factory prices have remained unchanged. Thus the new price of 1.0 mm thick ST01 HDG is at RMB 5,140/mt ($692/mt).

The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of November 16, 2007.
