LianYuan Steel adjusts ex-factory prices for flats

On February 16, 2008, Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel issued new ex-factory prices for its flat products. The details are as follows:

HR
The ex-factory price has increased RMB 150/mt ($21/mt). As a result, the new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 5,150/mt ($720/mt), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,980/mt ($697/mt).

CR
The ex-factory price has risen RMB 150/mt ($21/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 5,800/mt ($811/mt).

Full Hard
The ex-factory price has increased RMB 150/mt ($21/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard is at RMB 5,280/mt ($738/mt).

HDG
The ex-factory price has gone up RMB 260/mt ($36/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick ST01 HDG is at RMB 5,800/mt ($811/mt).

The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of February 16, 2008.
