Lianyuan cuts HR price for Dec., CR and GI unchanged

SteelOrbis Shanghai On December 1, 2006, Hunan province-based Lianyuan Steel adjusted its ex-factory prices. The ex-factory price of HR decreased RMB 50/mt ($6). Following the adjustment, the price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is now RMB 4,010/mt ($511), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 3,810/mt ($486). Meanwhile, Lianyuan Steel's ex-factory prices for CR and GI have remained unchanged. The price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is still RMB 4,590/mt ($585), while that of 1.0 mm thick ST012 GI remains at RMB 5,350/mt ($682). The above prices include 17% VAT and are effective as of December 1, 2006.
