Li Keqiang: China expects GDP growth of 6.5 percent in 2017

On March 5, at the 12th National People's Congress in Beijing, Chinese premier Li Keqiang stated in a government work report that China’s gross domestic product (GDP) is foreseen to grow at a rate of 6.5 percent in 2017, while the country’s consumer price index (CPI) is expected to rise to three percent in the year in question.
