Kazakhstan's crude steel output drops in January-May

According to the data released by the State Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan, the country's output of crude steel fell 1.4 percent year on year to 1.7 million tons in January-May of 2006. On the other hand, the output of flat rolled products and ferroalloys rose 18.4 percent and 7.2 percent to 1.22 million tons and 680,864 tons respectively during the same period.
