The government of Kazakhstan has signed a resolution for the introduction of a temporary ban on the export of waste and scrap of ferrous metals, as reported by official media sources in the country.

Kazakhstan's Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning was instructed to inform the Eurasian Economic Commission countries about the ban.

The ban will be effective  from April 21 until June 30 this year.
