Kazakhstan issues Jan-Aug production results

According to the data released by the Republic of Kazakhstan's Agency of Statistics, in the first eight months of 2007 the country registered an 11.6 percent increase in its crude steel production, a 14.3 percent increase in its production of flat rolled, and a 5.9 percent rise in its ferroalloys production year on year.

The respective figures in metric tons were 3.19 million, 2.33 million and 1.14 million.
