Jiujiang Steel starts to dry its new 1,080 m³ blast furnace

According to Jiangxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Jiujiang Iron and Steel Co. (Jiujiang Steel), a subsidiary of Jiangxi Pingxiang Iron and Steel Co., the drying of its new 1,080 m³ blast furnace commenced on October 13.

Construction work on the project for Jiujiang Steel's new 1,080 m³ blast furnace had started on December 5, 2010.
