Jiouquan’s Steckel mill starts trial production

Chinese mill Jiouquan has started trial production at its new Steckel mill in Gansu province, northwestern China. The capacity of new mill is reported as 500'000 tons of stainless and carbon steel coil per year. Furthermore, Yuan 1.1 billion (approx. $133 million) is invested for the mill. The production range will be 1.6-12.7 mm for thickness and 800-1600 mm for width.
