Italian industrial production sales prices rise 4.7 percent in July

According to Istat, Italy's national statistics office, in July this year industrial production sales prices in Italy rose by 0.3 percent compared to June and by 4.7 percent year on year.
 
In July, the prices of industrial products sold in the local market increased by 0.3 percent month on month and by 4.9 percent year on year, while the price index of products sold in foreign markets grew by 0.3 percent compared to June (-0.1 percent in the euro area and +0.4 percent outside the euro area) and by four percent year on year (+ four percent in the euro area and +3.2 percent outside the euro area).
 
The coke and oil sector showed the steepest increase in industrial production prices, as the local and foreign sale prices rose respectively by 18.7 percent and 29.9 percent year on year.
