In November this year, the seasonally adjusted confidence index in Italian manufacturing rose to 94.4 from 94.2 in October. Assessments of order books worsened, while production expectations and inventories remained broadly unchanged. Differences emerged according to sector and geographical location.
Meanwhile, in October this year (the latest month for which figures are available) the seasonally adjusted confidence index in Italian construction rose to 80.1 from 78.6 in September. Assessments of order books improved, while employment expectations worsened.
