Iranian state-owned iron ore mines up output by seven percent

Iranian state-owned iron ore miners produced 11.06 million mt in the first five months of the current Iranian year (started March 21) which is about seven percent higher than in the same period of the last Iranian year, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

The miners in question exploited about 17.53 million mt of iron ore in the period in question, marking an increase of 32 percent year on year.
