Indonesia launches AD duty investigation against Chinese alloyed HRC

Indonesia has started an antidumping investigation against imports of certain hot rolled coil steel from China, according to Reuters.

The investigation was initiated following the complaint by Indonesian state-controlled steelmaker PT Krakatau Steel.

“The Indonesian Trade Security Committee has been conducting an antidumping investigation which began on March 9 on imports of hot rolled coil of other alloy steel products originating from China,” stated Bachrul Chairi, head of the Indonesian trade ministry’s security committee, as quoted by Reuters.
