Import investigation in Poland for steel imports

It is reported that Poland has initiated an investigation on steel imports of certain products. Polish authorities explain that they are intending to find out wheter there is an import surge after the implemented safeguards by the US and the neighbouring EU. Investigation is expected to complete in six months, earliest. Meanwhile an import registration system is brought in effect in order to collect the necesary data to assist the investigations.
