Ilyich records UAH 647 million loss in H1

Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol, a subsidiary of Ukrainian steel group Metinvest, has stated that in Q2 it recorded a loss of UAH 157.364 million ($19.67 million). The company's net revenues for the second quarter increased by 38.72 percent year on year to UAH 8.675 billion ($1.084 billion).

In the January-June period of the current year, Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol saw a loss of UAH 647.338 million ($80.9 million). The net revenues of the company increased by 43.76 percent in H1 2011 compared to H1 2010, reaching UAH 16.462 billion ($2.058 billion).
