Huta Sendzimira’s tinplate mill to be closed

Poland's PHS is expected to close the tin mill at Huta im Tadeusza Sendzimira Works according to reports from market sources. The mill has 100,000 mts capacity, but reportedly lost almost all market share to Slovakia's USS Kosice mill after the latter has been taken over by USS. The line is expected to be shut down by the beginning of fourth quarter.
