Hunan Valin Steel’s steel plate supply to shipbuilders declines

Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Co. (Hunan Valin Steel) has announced that its steel plate supplies to shipbuilding plants have dropped to one third of its steel plate output from the previous 60 percent share of its overall steel plate output. The company stated that it has added new products to its product range, including high-strength steel plate for engineering machinery, high-rise buildings and bridges, and that it has sufficient orders for steel plate
