In the second quarter of this year, home sales in Turkey surged 17.83 percent as compared to the previous quarter and were up 18.87 percent year on year, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In the first quarter of 2011, home sales had declined 6.61 percent quarter on quarter and were up 6.07 percent as compared to the first quarter of 2010.
