Henan Province eliminates 2.4 million mt of steel capacity in 2016

China’s Henan Province’s has announced that it has achieved its capacity elimination targets for 2016, with 23.88 million mt of coal capacity and 2.40 million mt of steelmaking capacity being eliminated. 

Meanwhile, Henan Province announced that its overall gross product in 2016 is expected to increase by eight percent compared to 2015.
