Hebei Steel to acquire stakes in seven local private sector steel firms

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel giant Hebei Steel Group has announced that it plans to acquire stakes in seven local privately-owned steel enterprises.

Accordingly, Hebei Steel will acquire 10 percent stakes in each of the steel companies, which will avail of Hebei Steel's expertise in management, technology and marketing. The seven steel companies are located in Qianan and Wuan, Hebei Province.
