Chinese steelmaker Hebei Steel has signed a long-term tripartite export contract with South Korea-based Daewoo and South Korean end-user Kosteel, for exports of its wire rod to South Korea.
Due to the great fluctuations observed in both export prices and volumes in the current international markets, Hebei Steel states that it has experienced some difficulties in production management. By signing the contract in question, Hebei Steel expects to establish a long-term and stable channel for exports of its products. The company says it will continue to seek quality customers with a view to establishing long-term partnerships for its export activity.
